The start of a new racing year produces many indefinite details. The 2014 season looms in the balance, but we have no idea what it has in-store. Prior to 2013, there was no hint that Matt Kenseth would win seven races, Tony Stewart would break his leg and miss a large part of the season, or that Jimmie Johnson would dominate en route to his sixth title. Following a very strong 2012 came a rather disappointing 2013 for Team Penske. Brad Keselowski wasn’t able to back his championship up as he didn’t even qualify for the Chase. Joey Logano came in and was most successful for the team, but he wasn’t able to save the championship from falling out of Team Penske’s hands. With 2013 behind Team Penske, they now have their eyes set on returning to winning ways in 2014.
