In an all-new episode of ABC’s Nashville, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Austin Dillon guest stars when country superstar Luke Wheeler (Will Chase) surprises music legend Rayna James (Connie Britton) by showcasing James’ brand on a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The episode entitled, “It’s All Wrong, But It’s All Right,” premieres on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 10 p.m. ET.

“It was definitely a fun experience spending the day on the set with the cast of Nashville,” said Dillon, who will pilot the No. 3 Dow/Cheerios Chevrolet under the Richard Childress Racing banner this season. “I feel most comfortable in a race car but it’s cool to have experiences like this where you can be on the set of a popular television show and meet new people. The director kept telling me to slow down because I was reading my lines too quickly. I guess I do everything fast.”

Dillon, along with other members of the cast, will Tweet live during the episode – follow him on Twitter at @austindillon3.

ABC’s hit show chronicles the lives of some of the most ambitious musicians and songwriters in Nashville as they find their creativity and passions, while struggling to cope with the pressures of success and doing everything in their power to stay on top.
