Richard Childress Racing’s Paul Menard returns to the XFINITY Series this weekend at Michigan International Speedway to defend his 2014 victory at the two-mile track. Eight NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers are competing this weekend. Joining Menard are Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Alex Bowman, Aric Almirola and Kevin Harvick. Continue reading

Bowman and Truex Join BK Racing for 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season

BK Racing has signed Tucson, AZ native Alex Bowman and Mayetta, NJ native Ryan Truex to pilot the team’s No. 23 and No. 83 BK Racing entries and compete for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. Bowman will driver the newly renumbered No. 23 and comes off his rookie season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series which saw him win two poles and finish 11th in the final standings. Truex made four starts between the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series this past season. Both Bowman and Truex tested for BK Racing in the Preseason Thunder sessions at Daytona last week and have already begun to create a relationship with their respective teams and crew chiefs. K&N Pro Series with Double Header as East meets West in Iowa

K-NProSeriesLogoIowa Speedway has become synonymous with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series as both East and West have annually convened in the nation’s heartland to compete head-to-head since 2007.

The Casey’s General Stores 150 on Friday, June 7, will be the first of two meetings at the .875-mile track in Newton, Iowa, with the second scheduled for Aug. 2.

As Honorary Starter, John will wave the green flag to get the Royal Purple 300 underway.  The event will be televised at 2 p.m. PT on ESPN.
