ARCA Racing Series 2014 Champion and Iowa native, ‘Superman’ Mason Mitchell is capturing well-deserved attention that will hopefully help advance his career.  

It boggles the mind that Mason Mitchell is racing part-time after winning the ARCA Racing Series 2014 championship. Last Friday night in his last scheduled race of the 2015 season, Mitchell won the #Thisismyspeedway 150 in front of his home town crowd at Iowa Speedway, showing he has what it takes, and deserves his chance at the next level of his career – NASCAR. One week ago Austin Wayne Self saw his first career win slip away due to a cut right rear tire in the closing laps at Chicagoland Speedway. Fast forward one week later and the driver of the No. 98 AM Technical Solutions-Pirate Energy Ford for Mason Mitchell Motorsports would not be denied victory. Self took the lead on a late race restart and led the last six laps en route to his first career win in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards at the Winchester Speedway. Continue reading →

For Mason Mitchell Motorsports driver Austin Wayne Self, the 2015 ARCA Racing series season has seen him be a threat to win week in and week out.

“We’ve just been focusing on ourselves,” states Self who has accumulated four top-fives and six top-tens this season. “I feel like we’ve definitively put ourselves in position to win this year we just need that little bit of luck and we’ll be in victory lane”

Ross Kenseth Wins ARCA Racing Series Corrigan Oil 200

Ross Kenseth said he came to Michigan International Speedway for one thing Friday: “learn to win.” Mission accomplished.

Kenseth, 22, making his third career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards start, won Friday’s Corrigan Oil  200, winning at the two-mile speedway by 2.1 seconds over Frank Kimmel. Kenseth led 51 laps in taking the win in the No. 52 Federated Auto Parts Chevrolet. He took the lead from Grant Enfinger on lap 87 of the 100 lap race. Continue reading →
