One week ago Austin Wayne Self saw his first career win slip away due to a cut right rear tire in the closing laps at Chicagoland Speedway. Fast forward one week later and the driver of the No. 98 AM Technical Solutions-Pirate Energy Ford for Mason Mitchell Motorsports would not be denied victory. Self took the lead on a late race restart and led the last six laps en route to his first career win in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards at the Winchester Speedway. Continue reading →

For the second consecutive week, GMS Racing driver, Spencer Gallagher has earned his career-best finishes in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.  Last week at Michigan International Speedway, Gallagher raced his No. 23 to a runner-up finish, his best series’ result and followed that up with his second-best result, a seventh-place finish this weekend at Iowa Speedway, which is his third top-ten finish of the season.  Continue reading →

Last season, a powerful run through Iowa Speedway helped Erik Jones finally emerge from the tall shadows cast by bad luck.

But the talented 19-year-old’s relationship with misfortune re-formed in 2015 — until, again, Iowa.

Jones entered Friday’s American Ethanol 200 winless in eight NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts this season and stung by back-to-back finishes of 23rd and 15th.
