After 26 years, I finally attended my first ever NASCAR race. Ever since I can remember. I have been watching NASCAR mostly every Sunday. For my 26th Birthday, I got to go to my favorite NASCAR track, Talladega Superspeedway.

The elimination race for the Round of 12 took place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. This race is known to have dramatic and historic happenings that create unimaginable developments in the playoffs each year. There are always a few drivers that appear ready to advance to the next round. However, by the end of the race, they find themselves looking in from the outside.

LAS VEGAS – As he crossed the Las Vegas Motor Speedway finish line to claim the South Point 400 trophy, Denny Hamlin screamed into his team radio, ‘Viva Las Vegas.‘ And indeed, it was that kind of night for the perennial championship contender, who led a race-best 137 of the 267 laps to earn his first Las Vegas victory in 20 starts and take an automatic bid into the next round of the Playoffs.
