With one ferociously fast pit stop, Kyle Busch erased a lackluster qualifying effort and cruised to victory in Friday night’s Virginia529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

In what has quickly become tradition for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series when it races north of the border, the Chevrolet Silverado 250 produced yet another wild and memorable finish.
This time around at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, John Hunter Nemechek and Cole Custer made contact on the last corner of the last lap and crossed the start-finish line in the grass in a virtual tie.
Following a few moments of deliberations, NASCAR officials determined Nemechek won the race by 0.034 seconds.

Cunningham Motorsports has announced that Grant Enfinger will become the ninth driver to take the reins of their No. 22 Ford, when teams pull into the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds on Sunday, September 4. Enfinger, who is the 2015 ARCA Racing Series champion, was the logical choice of co-owners Briggs Cunningham and Kerry Scherer, since Grant is the reigning pole and race winner at the one-mile dirt track in DuQuoin, Illinois. Kyle Larson celebrated his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory in Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway with a celebratory burn out from the asphalt through the grass and directly into Victory Lane.
And while the victory was sugar sweet for the Elk Grove, California native ending a 99-race winless streak for Chip Ganassi Racing, Larson now doesn’t have to worry about points or where he finishes the next two weeks at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway or Richmond (Va.) International Raceway, although knowing Larson’s ethic winning next week is just as important as winning Sunday in the Irish Hills. Continue reading →
