Zane Smith Bumps Up ARCA Debut; Slated for Salem Start

Seventeen year-old Zane Smith will move up his earlier reported ARCA Racing Series debut and drive for Venturini Motorsports (VMS) in next week’s highly anticipated Fall Classic at Salem Speedway on Saturday, September 10.

Smith, already scheduled to make his Kentucky Speedway debut later this month, will drive VMS’ No.66 Icon Vehicle Dynamics Toyota at the famed Indiana half-mile short track. Continue reading

The ARCA Racing Series has been on a week-long break and Venturini Motorsports driver, Tom Hessert is ready for action at Lucas Oil Raceway in Friday night’s Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 presented by Jive at Lucas Oil Raceway.

And there’s good reason, for Hessert’s No 25 Venturini Motorsports team to look forward to this weekend. Lucas Oil Raceway is the second race in the four-race event known as the Bill France Four Crown Championship – a prestigious title that every ARCA driver strives to earn.  Heading into the race this weekend Hessert is leading the way with a slim advantage over his teammate Dalton Sargeant and the series’ point leader Chase Briscoe. Dalton Sargeant Excited to Head to Winchester, a Track that Suits his Driving Style

Dalton Sargeant is ready to compete this weekend at Winchester Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Herr’s Potato Chip 200. Sunday’s race will mark the seventh start of the season for Sargeant, who is slated to compete in 15 of the 20 races on the 2016 schedule with Venturini Motorsports.

Sargeant is coming off the worst finish of his rookie campaign, which was still a ninth-place result, two weeks ago at Michigan International Speedway.

The 18-year-old Boca Raton, Fla. native is paired with veteran crew chief Billy Venturini this season and the duo has experienced success from the start. Venturini is no stranger to the ARCA Racing Series as a driver, having recorded one win, 28 top-five and 75 top-ten finishes in 162 starts between 1994 and 2007. Continue reading
