John Hunter Nemechek Wins Wild Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

In what has quickly become tradition for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series when it races north of the border, the Chevrolet Silverado 250 produced yet another wild and memorable finish.

This time around at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, John Hunter Nemechek and Cole Custer made contact on the last corner of the last lap and crossed the start-finish line in the grass in a virtual tie.

Following a few moments of deliberations, NASCAR officials determined Nemechek won the race by 0.034 seconds.

Brett Moffitt Beats Red Horse Teammate to Checkers at Michigan

In five NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts, Brett Moffitt had never led a lap.

But in Saturday’s Careers for Veterans 200 at Michigan International Speedway, Moffitt picked the perfect time to take the point for the first time.

Powering around Red Horse Racing teammate Timothy Peters and five-time series winner William Byron off the second corner of the final lap at the two-mile track, Moffitt held off Peters by 0.098 seconds to win a NASCAR national series race for the first time.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams converge at Eldora Speedway this weekend for the fan favorite event of the season the Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby on Wednesday, July 20th.  FOX Sports 1 coverage begins at 7 pm ET with a green flag around 9 pm ET with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

The format this weekend on dirt will cover 75 miles over 150 laps during three segments 40-50-60 laps.

Byron Captures Fourth Win, KBM’s Record 51st Victory At Kentucky

William Byron led a race-high 70 laps on his way to his Camping World Truck Series-high fourth victory of the season in last Friday’s Buckle Up In Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Byron’s triumph was the 51st Camping World Truck Series win for Kyle Busch Motorsports, which surpassed Roush Fenway Racing (50) for the most wins in series history. Continue reading

Byron Holds Off Nemechek, Hemric for Record Camping World Truck Series Win

William Byron didn’t have the fastest truck at the end of Thursday night’s Buckle Up In Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

But Byron had the most important ingredient in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the newly repaved and reconfigured 1.5-mile track. Byron held the top spot for all 42 laps after the last restart of the event on lap 108 of 150.

It was no cakewalk. Byron had to stave off assaults from both runner-up John Hunter Nemechek and third-place finisher Daniel Hemric, who dogged the race winner – and each other – for the entire closing green-flag run. Continue reading
