The Nationwide Series teams are at Phoenix International Raceway for the Blue Jeans Go Green 200 presented by Cotton, The Fabric of Our Lives and on Saturday, March 1st at Phoenix International Raceway, they’ll run 200 miles in 200 laps on the one-mile track. Daytona’s high banks are legendary as history is worn into them along with memories that last a lifetime. Twice a year when NASCAR rolls in, more skid marks are added, indicating the wildness occurring in the race. More of the crazy Daytona racing that fans adore is returning on Saturday night. Yesterday, FOX missed live coverage of a crucial point in the race during a commercial break. This only adds to fan’s frustration over the amount of commercial breaks during green flag coverage of Sprint Cup races recently.
With rain threatening and drivers making moves for the lead at Talladega, FOX went to commercial only to miss what could have been the winning move by Carl Edwards before the red flag flew for rain. Fortunately, NASCAR was able to dry the track and finish the race.
