Dylan Kwasniewski scored his fifth win of the season with a victory in the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 140 at Greenville Pickens Speedway on Monday, to extend his lead in the K&N Pro Series East championship standings. Kwasniewski after winning his third pole of the season with a fast qualifying lap on the historic half-mile oval, holds a 40-point lead with four races left to run in the season. The 18-year-old driver is the reigning NASCAR K&N Pro Series West champion and a member of NASCAR‘s Next program. Continue reading

Michael Self Takes Win in East-West K&N Pro Series Race at Iowa

First K&N West Driver Takes Overall Victory in Combo Race
Michael Self continued his winning ways Friday night at Iowa Speedway.

The 22-year-old from Park City, Utah, pulled away from the NASCAR K&N Pro SeriesĀ field en route to the win in the Casey’s General Store 150. It was Self’s second straight win, his fifth in his last 14 races, and he became the first NASCAR K&N Pro Series West driver to win the annual combination race with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Dylan Kwasniewski Blazes His Own Trail into NASCAR

Despite being only 17 years old, Dylan Kwasniewski is already blazing quite a trailĀ within the NASCAR world. After becoming the youngest driver to win the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Championship in 2012, Dylan moved on to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and now pilots the No. 98 Royal Purple/Rockstar Energy Chevrolet for Turner Scott Motorsports.

The young Dylan Kwasniewski bested Bristol, theĀ .533-mile high-banked oval and the other 35 competitors last Saturday to win the DRIVE4COPD 125 in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship season opener. Continue reading
