In a season with many ‘firsts,’ Cameron Hayley’s rookie season this week features his début on dirt at Eldora Speedway for the 1-800-Car-Cash Mud Summer Classic. Hayley started ninth and finished eighth in his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at the famed clay oval owned by Sprint Cup driver Tony Stewart.  Continue reading

Christopher Bell Slings to Dramatic Camping World Truck Series Win at Eldora Speedway

 

In one of the most anticipated races of the year, Christopher Bell scored a dramatic win in the third annual 1-800-CAR-CASH Mud Summer Classic on the famed Eldora Speedway dirt.

It was the first victory for Bell in just his third career start. Bell’s triumph marked back-to-back victories for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the No. 54 Toyota Tundra at Eldora. Continue reading

Rookie Daniel Suárez Scores Back-to-Back Fourth-Place Finishes at Kentucky Speedway

After a top-five finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ UNOH 225 on Friday night, Daniel Suárez returned to Kentucky Speedway on Saturday to compete in the Kentucky 300 with the NASCAR XFINITY Series. His fourth-place finish in the Camping World Truck Series was his fourth series’ top-five of the year and Suárez intended to bring that momentum to his next race of the weekend. Keselowski Holds Off Jones and Busch for XFINITY Win at Kentucky

 

Brad Keselowski held of Erik Jones and a charging Kyle Busch after a restart with 31 laps left and collected his first NASCAR XFINITY Series victory of the season in Friday night’s Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway.

A late two-tire call put Keselowski in front for a restart on lap 170, and though the No. 22 Team Penske Ford ceded the lead to Jones for 22 circuits, Keselowski regained the top spot with a daring move to the inside through traffic entering the tri-oval on lap 92 and held on to win by less than a quarter-second.
