BROOKLYN, Mich. (Jan. 12, 2018) — Michigan International Speedway launched its redesigned website with a whole new look. The enhanced website includes many fan-friendly features that will add to the guest experience.

The website, www.mispeedway.com, was launched with a modern look and new features to make it easier for fans to locate information and purchase tickets. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams headed west this weekend for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, June 25th at 3 pm ET. Coverage begins at 1:30 pm ET on FOX Sports 1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

 

Drivers will race 218.9 miles over 110 laps with Stage 1 ending on lap 25 and Stage 2 ending on lap 50. The last stage will end on the last lap, 110. Continue reading →

Joey Logano Elated by Third-Place Finish at Michigan

Far from being disappointed with his third-place finish in Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, Joey Logano was positively beaming when he walked into the media center to answer questions after the race.

The Bottom Lane Means Bad Bottom Line for Martin Truex Jr

For much of Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, Martin Truex Jr. appeared likely to sweep the proceedings.

He won the first two 60-lap stages, and he likely had the strongest car in the race. Unfortunately, Truex lined up fifth, fifth, ninth and seventh for the final four restarts of the race—all in the bottom lane where grip through Turns 1 and 2 was almost impossible to find. Continue reading →
