Teamwork is the Mantra for Ford Racing as 2017 Season Begins

If there truly is strength in numbers, then Ford’s presence in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series has grown in magnitude with the addition of Stewart-Haas Racing’s four-car organization.

The benefit was immediately obvious. Stewart-Haas’ Kevin Harvick, driving a Ford in the heat of battle for the first time, helped former nemesis Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski break up a four-car Toyota train at the front of the field in last Saturday’s Advance Auto Parts Clash at Daytona, the season-opening exhibition race in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. NASCAR’s third Snapchat Live Story of the 2016 season will take place around Saturday night’s Bank of America 500. Fans at Charlotte Motor Speedway can contribute content to the video stream, giving Snapchat users around the world a behind-the-scenes look at NASCAR race day.

Snapchat users can also unlock an exclusive Charlotte race week Snapchat filter by scanning the snapcode found in this tweet.

Front Row Motorsports driver Landon Cassill took over NASCAR’s Snapchat account earlier this week to unveil his Charlotte paint scheme, which features Snapchat’s ghost logo. Cassill promised free tacos to his Snapchat followers if he wins on Saturday.

Chris Buescher Officially Claims Provisonal Chase Spot with Superb Bristol Finish

Weeks after winning his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, Chris Buescher vaulted to inside the top-30 in driver points with a gratifying fifth-place finish in Sunday’s postponed Bass Pro Shops NRA Race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

The driver on loan from Roush Fenway Racing to Front Row Motorsports used his best starting position of the season as traction for 500 laps in Thunder Valley.

Buescher’s team led by veteran crew chief Greg Osborne held their own under the lights Saturday night before Mother Nature invaded the speedway and forcing the postponement until late Sunday afternoon. Playing their cards right and avoiding late race attrition, Buescher challenged Austin Dillon for fourth, but settled for fifth when the checkered flag waved. Continue reading
