After several reports floating around on social media throughout the day, NBC Sports, Executive Producer Sam Flood made it official that they and Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Steve Letarte have reached an agreement for him to join NBC’s multi-platform NASCAR coverage beginning in 2015. There is always one race in the Chase when a non-championship contender sneaks up and grabs the victory. Charlotte has become a track where this feat can easily be accomplished. Brad Keselowski was the driver to pull it off this season when he pulled into victory lane Saturday night at Charlotte. It was nowhere near a dominant performance by the defending champion.
