Daniel Hemric Apologizes for Late Race Incident with Brandon Jones at Iowa

In an intense NASCAR Xfinity Series overtime restart in the US Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway the lead drivers of Justin Allgaier in the No. 7 and Christopher Bell in the No. 20 racing side-by-side in pursuit of a victory. Behind them was Brandon Jones in the No. 19 running third, the No. 21 of Daniel Hemric running fourth and Kyle Benjamin in the No. 18 running in the fifth position. Hemric raced around Jones but then his car slid up the track and that’s when Brandon Jones found his No. 19 in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Continue reading

Raising the bar throughout his career, Christopher Bell with Joe Gibbs Racing has found his stride in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series by winning two straight races at Kentucky and New Hampshire – he has a total of three victories this year. Continuing to dominate at Iowa Speedway, Tyler Dippel with DGR Crosley taking the K&N Pro Series pole award for the Casey’s General Store 150 on Friday afternoon after also finishing the second practice session in first place. Dippel races in the K&N Pro Series East and of note is that unlike the earlier practice sessions, the K&N Pro Series West have three of the top-five starting spots for the race.
