Defending XFINITY Series Winner Paul Menard Leads Sprint Cup Contingent Peppering the Great Clips 250 Benefiting Paralyzed Veterans of America Entry List at Michigan.

Richard Childress Racing’s Paul Menard returns to the XFINITY Series this weekend at Michigan International Speedway to defend his 2014 victory at the two-mile track. Before the “Monster Mile” heats up for May 29-31 race weekend, NASCAR drivers, broadcasters, personalities, and more will tee up in the annual “Drive for Autism” Celebrity Golf Outing.

Held each year in Wilmington, Delaware, drivers will exchange their steering wheels for a golf club to support a great cause. Many of today’s top competitors will be present on May 28th and will compete for the best score rather than a trip to Victory Lane. Continue reading →

Here is my preview and fantasy picks for the Sprint Cup Series’ SpongeBob SquarePants 400 at Kansas Speedway on Saturday, May 9th.

Contenders

Joey Logano – Very fast race car and is again on the pole, needs to keep his speed and be able to keep up with the track throughout the race though, which has been his achilles heel all season. 

Jimmie Johnson – Has been relatively streaky so far this yeas but you really can’t count him out, especially on a mile and half race track. With wins at Atlanta and Texas already I think he will be a serious contender tonight.  Continue reading →
