KANSAS CITY, Kan. – As Denny Hamlin was finishing off a dominating day in Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, Chase Elliott stole perhaps an even bigger prize—a spot in the Round of 8 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

TALLADEGA, Ala. – A small misjudgment may have cost Alex Bowman a chance to advance to the Round of 8 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Brad Keselowski and Paul Menard put in solid performances for Team Penske and its affiliate Wood Brothers Racing on Sunday with finishes of 11th and 12th respectively.
The results weren’t the same for Keselowski’s teammates Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – There was certainly no shortage of drama – both on and off the track – in the opening race of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs last weekend and that high energy will undoubtedly carry over to the second race of the ten-race Playoff this Saturday night in the Federated Auto Parts 400 (7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) at Richmond Raceway.
