NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams will race 200 miles over 160 laps in the Drivin for Linemen 200 brought to you by Altec at Gateway Motorsports Park on Saturday, June 25th. Burnin’ Hot: Byron Blazes to Third Victory

William Byron has raced for less than four years, yet is dominating the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Byron, 19, blazed to his series-leading third win of the season at Iowa and has visited Victory Lane in the series’ last two races. The 2015 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East frontrunner made only one start in the Camping World Truck Series before this season.

Now, he looks to tie a record. If Byron or teammates Christopher Bell or Erik Jones can earn a victory, Kyle Busch Motorsports would tie Roush Fenway Racing for the most owner wins in Camping World Truck Series history with 50. Continue reading →

William Byron Uses Late-Race Pass for Dramatic Win at Iowa

Following his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win of the season last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender William Byron used a late race restart and three-wide pass to charge from fourth to first to win Saturday night’s Speediatrics 200 at Iowa Speedway.

Byron, driving the No. 9 Liberty University Toyota Tundra, swiped the lead from Cole Custer on a restart with nine laps remaining, but a caution six laps from the finish saw the Charlotte, North Carolina, native have to defend his presence at the front.

In a two-lap shootout, the 18-year-old Byron fended off challengers Custer and Cameron Hayley for a series-high third win in just his ninth Truck Series start. Continue reading →

Three-Peat: Crafton Goes for Third Straight June Texas Victory

Matt Crafton, who’s won the last two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races this season and the past two June contests at Texas Motor Speedway, will go for his third consecutive win in Friday’s Rattlesnake 400 at the 1.5-mile track.

In 30 career starts at Texas, Crafton owns two wins, 11 top-fives, 19 top-tens and a 9.7 average finish. He has placed in the top-ten in his last nine starts there. The ThorSport Racing driver also has three runner-up showings at Texas. Continue reading →

Crafton Cruises to Second Consecutive Win

Matt Crafton led a race-high 47 laps in last Saturday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 to cruise to his second consecutive NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory.
