Brad Keselowski held of Erik Jones and a charging Kyle Busch after a restart with 31 laps left and collected his first NASCAR XFINITY Series victory of the season in Friday night’s Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway.
A late two-tire call put Keselowski in front for a restart on lap 170, and though the No. 22 Team Penske Ford ceded the lead to Jones for 22 circuits, Keselowski regained the top spot with a daring move to the inside through traffic entering the tri-oval on lap 92 and held on to win by less than a quarter-second. On tap for Friday’s UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway is a guaranteed new winner in Victory Lane as no currently active driver has taken a checkered flag in the Bluegrass State. Among the top contenders at Kentucky are series wins leader Matt Crafton, as well as the drivers from Kyle Busch Motorsports. Crafton has won three of the four races on 1.5-mile tracks this season, while Kyle Busch Motorsports has celebrated in Victory Lane twice at Kentucky, including last year following Kyle Busch’s triumph. NASCAR Debuts On NBC With The Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series makes its triumphant return to NBC on Sunday, July 5 with the broadcast of the Coke Zero 400 presented by Coca-Cola.
Coverage starts with the pre-race show at 7 p.m. ET and the race broadcast begins at 7:45 p.m. ET.

That simple statement hardly plumbs the depth of emotion Kyle Busch was feeling after winning Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.
In the first-ever 1-2 finish in the series by the Busch brothers, Kyle Busch beat Kurt Busch to the finish line by .532 seconds to win for the first time since returning from an 11-race absence because of a broken right leg and left foot sustained in a Feb. 21 accident at Daytona International Speedway.
