With the new Camping World Truck Series Season less than two weeks from starting, everyone is making their final predictions for what they believe will happen in the Truck Series this season. The new additions to the Truck schedule like Eldora and MoSport in Canada make the expected excitement level very high. 2013 could be like last season where our expectation level was way too low and the actual season was epic. But, we won’t make that same mistake this season. We all expect the action to be top-notch in the Truck Series this season. Below, I give some bold predictions for the Truck Series this season. As the opening of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season approaches, Atlanta Motor Speedway President and General Manager Ed Clark went on the record to give his annual thoughts about the upcoming season.

Last season, Clark ended up being accurate on 81.25 percent of his predictions. His 2012 season forecast included several bold proclamations, included in those were that Brad Keselowski would be in the championship mix, Denny Hamlin would win five races and that Michael Waltrip Racing would experience a breakout season, all of which came true. The latest news concerning the Truck Series in the upcoming season was announced today at the NASCAR Preview in Charlotte when Kyle Busch and Joe Gibbs announced Darrell (Bubba) Wallace Jr will drive the full-truck schedule for Kyle Busch Motorsports/KBM this season. Wallace Jr is an up and coming driver for Joe Gibbs Racing and success came immediately for Wallace Jr when he entered NASCAR. Wallace Jr is also part of NASCAR’s drive for diversity and Wallace Jr may be the most successful African-American driver in NASCAR history. Continue reading →

With the new Gen 6 car in 2013, anything can happen on the race track. We could see things happen that we haven’t seen happen in years. We may also see new and never-before-seen things occur. That’s what makes predicting the upcoming season so fun. Anything could happen, right? So why not throw out the possibility of my three bold predictions coming true? These three bold predictions for this year could create some interesting racing if they were to come true.
