William Byron claims his first NASCAR Cup Series road course win at Watkins Glen International in the Go Bowling at The Glen on Sunday afternoon.

The regular season for the NASCAR Cup Series has wound down to two remaining races of their regular season coming into Sunday. A tough task at Watkins Glen International followed by an unpredictable race at Daytona International Speedway. This has been a tough closing stretch of the season with two road course races and a superspeedway race in three straight weeks. The wide variety of racing has produced a nerve-wrenching battle to close out the regular season.

Michael McDowell grabs his NASCAR Cup Series playoff spot with a win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course in the Verizon 200.

Running a race he knew he could win, Michael McDowell held off Chase Elliott in Sunday’s Verizon 200 at the Brickyard and grabbed a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Denny Hamlin grabs a controversial NASCAR Cup Series victory at Pocono Raceway in the HighPoint.com 400 on Sunday afternoon.

Denny Hamlin prevailed in a tight door-to-door bump-and-go pass on Kyle Larson with seven laps remaining to claim a historic all-time best seventh NASCAR Cup Series victory at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway – the win in Sunday’s HighPoint.com 400 which also marks Hamlin’s 50th career trophy and second of the 2023 season.
