It’s been a few days since Saturday’s controversial race at Richmond and as many others, I’ve taken some time to deal with my disappointment over decisions made within the Michael Waltrip Racing organization.

NASCAR, however, reacted swiftly and with a heavy hand to what they interpret as deliberate manipulation of the outcome of the race results. Personally, I’m glad they responded quickly, and as some others, I feel they should have gone further with penalties within the organization.  Continue reading

NASCAR Reinstates Former Crew Member Robert Harrison

NASCARlogo NASCAR has reinstated former NASCAR Nationwide Series crew member Robert (Robbie) S. Harrison upon his successful completion of NASCAR’s Substance Abuse Policy Road to Recovery Program. Harrison had been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR on May 30, 2013 for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy.
