Four-tire call propels Brad Keselowski to surprise victory at Fontana

 
After Sunday’s Auto Club 400, there may be a warrant issued for Brad Keselowski.
 
After all, the driver of the No. 2 Team Penske Ford committed his own version of “Grand Theft Auto” at Auto Club Speedway—he stole an entire race.
 
Benefitting from a four-tire call on the last lap of regulation and two opportune cautions that extended the event nine laps beyond its scheduled distance, Keselowski passed polesitter Kurt Busch on the final lap (209) and pulled away to win his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race of the season.

Ty Dillon Grabs XFINITY Series Standings Lead Early

Richard Childress Racing’s Ty Dillon has powered to the NASCAR XFINITY Series point standings lead after posting three top-10 finishes in the first three races of the 2015 season.

Dillon has been adamant since the season opener that 2015 is a championship or bust season for himself and the No. 3 RCR Chevrolet team. Now he sits at the standings point, six markers ahead of Roush Fenway Racing driver Chris Buescher in second and 15 points ahead of third-place Ryan Reed.   Continue reading →

Phoenix is Kasey Kahne’s 400th Consecutive Sprint Cup Series Career Start

Similar to his career, Kasey Kahne’s 2015 season has, so far, been a mixed bag of ups and downs.  With the fourth Sprint Cup Series race of the season coming at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, March 15th, Kahne will have his 400th series consecutive, career start in the CampingWorld.com 500 and that is reason for celebration.
