Up next on the NASCAR XFINITY Series schedule is the second of three road courses this season. Action for the Mid-Ohio Challenge is on Saturday, August 12th at 3:30 pm ET. Coverage begins at 3 pm ET on NBC Sports Network, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
Drivers will race 169.35 miles over 75 laps with Stage 1 ending on lap 20, Stage 2 on lap 40 and the last stage will end on the last lap 75. Continue reading
If Brendan Gaughan qualifies for the XFINITY Series playoff, the month of August likely will play a large part in his success.
Three of the next four XFINITY races take place on road courses, broken up only by a short-track event at Bristol. But this weekend’s Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International, followed by trips to Mid-Ohio (Aug. 12) and Road America (Aug. 27 after Bristol) are the events that have Gaughan’s attention.
