We’re chatting about all the hottest topics and what fans can expect at the track over the upcoming weekend of racing at Phoenix International Raceway. XFINITY Series Rookie Ross Chastain Rolls on to Phoenix with Confidence

NASCAR XFINITY Series Rookie of the Year contender Ross Chastain sits in tenth-place in the series point standings as the circuit moves on to Phoenix International Raceway Saturday for the Axalta Faster Tougher Brighter 200.

In his first three races of the season, Chastain has finishes of ninth, 24th and 18th, and he has reason for confidence as his JD Motorsports team heads to Phoenix.

This will be Chastain’s first XFINITY Series race at Phoenix, but he has solid experience in the Camping World Truck Series at the track. He has raced there twice, and, in 2013, Chastain won the pole and finished second in the Camping World Truck Series event. Continue reading →
