Kyle Larson Slides Past Chase Elliott to Win at Watkins Glen

Kyle Larson slides past Chase Elliott to win at Watkins Glen International in the NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen on Sunday afternoon.

Watkins Glen hosted the NASCAR Cup Series for another road course race in the 2022 campaign. Two more races were left before the beginning of the playoffs. With only one spot open, teams are scrambling to find a way to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Ryan Blaney is holding on as tight as he can to that last spot. If one more driver wins his first race on the season, it could be over for Ryan Blaney and his team.

Kyle Larson Earns a Surprise NASCAR Xfinity Series Win at Watkins Glen

Kyle Larson earns a surprise NASCAR Xfinity Series Win at Watkins Glen International in the Sunoco Go Rewards 200 on Saturday afternoon.

In the moments after claiming the checkered flag for the Sunoco Go Rewards 200 at the Glen Saturday afternoon, Kyle Larson smiled and conceded he was a bit fortunate.

“I got lucky,’’ he told the USA Network television audience.

Brandon Jones grabs the ARCA Menards Series Victory at Watkins Glen International in the General Tire Delivers 100 on Friday evening.

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — Sammy Smith dominated Friday evening’s General Tire Delivers 100 at Watkins Glen International. The Kyle Busch Motorsports driver led almost every lap. Only Taylor Gray was able to challenge Smith for the lead throughout the 41-lap event on the 11-turn, 2.45-mile road course.

And neither won the race.
