Michael Lira is a Young Driver with a Mission

Michael Lira is a 25-year-old young man with a passion for racing since a very young age. He grew up watching his Dad race and knew right away that racing would be a big part of his future. Lira started racing Quarter Midgets at just 9 years of age, and enjoys racing go-carts on dirt, a more technical sport than racing on asphalt.

Michael Lira’s main goal is to achieve success in racing and he’s accomplished several milestones along his racing journey.

During Lira’s first season in the FASCAR PRO-TRUCKS division in 2011, he claimed the title of “Rookie of the Year.” Continue reading

NASCAR and NBC Sports Group announced Tuesday, they have reached a comprehensive agreement that grants NBCUniversal exclusive rights to the final 20 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, final 19 NASCAR Nationwide Series events, select NASCAR Regional & Touring Series events and other live content beginning in 2015. Financial terms of the agreement, which runs through the 2024 season, were not disclosed.  Continue reading

Mackena Bell Racing Her Way in NASCAR

Mackena Bell, 23, is from Carson City Nevada and currently racing in NASCAR‘s K&N Pro Series East. Competing in her fourth season with Rev Racing after running a schedule in 2012 that included 18 starts in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series with one pole, three top-fives and 15 top-tens.

In 2007, Bell moved up to race full-size stock cars and hasn’t looked back. She competed in her first full season in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at All American Speedway in Roseville, California.

In 2008 with her family-owned race team. She was the youngest female competitor in the late model division, and in 18 starts had three top-fives, 11 top-tens and completed the season ninth in points after missing four races. Continue reading

CE Falk was recently thrust into the spotlight this past week, but not in the way he anticipated while leading the Whelen All-American Series race as part of the UNOH Battle at the Beach on Monday night. With some hard racing in the final lap of the race, he was the recipient of a bump ‘n run move followed by a controversial spin by race winner Kyle Larson.

Following the race and despite the disappointing loss, CE Falk handled the incident well, but knew he had just cashed out the expense of a damaged car versus cashing in with another well-earned victory for him and his team. Continue reading
