Daniel Hemric Signs NASCAR XFINITY Series Deal with RCR
Daniel Hemric, who qualified for the inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase in the No. 19 Brad Keselowski Racing Ford on Friday night, will drive full-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series in a Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet next season, RCR announced Saturday.

It’s been a banner weekend for Daniel Hemric at Chicagoland Speedway. In Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, Hemric earned a career-best second place finish in the No. 19 DrawTite Ford for Brad Keselowski Racing. A model of consistency in the Truck Series in 2016, with eight top-five and 13 top-ten results, the Kannapolis, NC native earned a berth in the inaugural Truck Series Chase.
On Saturday morning, Richard Childress Racing announced they signed Hemric to a multi-year agreement to drive full-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series beginning with the 2017 season. Continue reading →
NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers will race 300 miles in 200 laps in the Drive for Safety 300 at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday, September 17th. This is their final race before the inaugural Chase for the XFINITY Series title begins. Television coverage begins at 2:30 pm ET on NBC, with a green flag around 3 pm ET.
