Alon Day Making NASCAR Cup Series Debut at Sonoma

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will experience a milestone this weekend at Sonoma Raceway when Alon Day, a 25 year-old native of Tel Aviv, will become the first driver from Israel to ever compete in NASCAR’s top series. Day is Israel’s 2016 ‘Athlete of the Year,”  and will race the No. 23 for BK Racing in the Toyota SaveMart 350. Continue reading →

Joey Logano Elated by Third-Place Finish at Michigan

Far from being disappointed with his third-place finish in Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, Joey Logano was positively beaming when he walked into the media center to answer questions after the race.

The reason? After a series of calamities and ill-handling cars over the past month or so, Logano was simply looking for a trouble-free race. On Sunday, he got it—and then some. Continue reading →
