NASCAR Weekend Preview of Charlotte on Fan4Racing Radio

Fan4Racing NASCAR Weekend Preview is presented by host Sharon Burton and co-host Jay Husmann this Friday at 12:30 pm ET. Join us as we rev up race fans for the upcoming weekend of racing. Then stick around for Hot Topics Sound Off at 2 pm ET with co-host Andy Laskey and our Fan4Racing crew!

This episode centers around Charlotte Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series.

  • First, we review the second NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway along, with our review the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington – both with some post-race audio.
  • Then, we preview of the Cup Series crown jewel Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with pre-race audio, along with the NASCAR Xfinity and Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series at Charlotte
  • Time permitting we’ll provide a few updates from the ARCA Menards Series, ARCA East, and ARCA West.

Chase Briscoe Rides Emotions in NASCAR Xfinity Series Return to Racing

An emotional Chase Briscoe battled Kyle Busch to the line, beating and banging each other in the last ten laps, that probably had fans at home on their feet. Briscoe overcame Busch at the line to capture the win in the Toyota 200 at Darlington Raceway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ first race back since the COVID 19 pandemic brought sports to a halt.

FedEx and Hamlin Want a Victory at Charlotte for US Small Businesses

FedEx and Hamlin are running a special paint scheme this weekend to support small business.

Denny Hamlin says his No. 11 car is short on special paint schemes, especially for the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This Sunday, the annual NASCAR Cup Series race is extra important because Hamlin’s FedEx car will carry a special message of support for small businesses in the US affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hamlin’s Win at Darlington is his Second in 2020.

Hamlin’s win in the Toyota 500 at Darlington, makes him the only Joe Gibbs Racing driver with a victory.

The NASCAR Cup Series returned to Darlington Raceway Wednesday for some midweek racing. After a fun and exciting return this past Sunday, Cup drivers look to return to the full swing of racing. NASCAR took the top-20 finishers on Sunday’s race and inverted them to form the lineup for the night race under the light.

JGR’s Denny Hamlin is now the season’s second multi-time winner, as the driver of the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota after earning the rain-abbreviated Toyota 500 NASCAR Cup Series victory Wednesday night at Darlington Raceway.
