Another Win for Brad Keselowski at Bristol

Another win for Brad Keselowski in the NASCAR Cup Series for the Supermarket Heroes 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. The victory came in the closing laps.

Another win for Brad Keselowski in the Supermarket Heroes 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

For the first time this season, the NASCAR Cup Series went to work on the short track of Bristol Motor Speedway. Food City presented the Supermarket Heroes 500 on the high banks of Bristol, a track giving NASCAR fans action-packed races for years. Yesterday’s race surely continued that trend.

The First Stage

Brad Keselowski kicked off the race in the pole position and was able to lead the field through two cautions, including a competition caution in the first stage. During the restart, after the competition caution, Ryan Blaney pushed into the lead and was closely followed by Chase Elliott. Elliott did not let Blaney slip away, as he was able to make a pass for the lead late in the stage. Chase Elliott was able to win the first stage of the race.

Chase Elliott rides momentum to victory in the Alsco 500 at Charlotte, his seventh win in 157 Cup Series races.

After a long four hundred lap Coca Cola 600, the NASCAR Cup Series returned to Charlotte Motor Speedway for a short five-hundred-kilometer race. This race was only 208 laps, and for everyone in the field, it felt like a shootout.

The First Stage

William Byron held the pole starting position and led the field down into turn one. Byron held off Matt DiBenedetto for the race lead and continued to lead up until the competition caution on lap 20. Most of the leaders made their way onto pit road for early adjustments, but, multiple drivers stayed out on the track to gain track position.

Joey Logano was one of the drivers staying out, and it paid off for him with a quick pass on the restart to gain the lead. Joey Logano had no other challenges in his way and was able to sail smoothly to a stage one victory.

A Strong Finish for Brad Keselowski and Team Penske in the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway gives him another Crown Jewel victory.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran the show at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca Cola 600, one of NASCAR’s Crown Jewel races. This race is all about team endurance and their ability to adjust from day to night racing. The 600 miles at the 1.5-mile track is already a tough Sunday drive. Now, throw in a sunset and a track temperature decline in the middle of the drive, and this race becomes an annual challenge for many teams.

Hamlin’s Win at Darlington is his Second in 2020.

Hamlin’s win in the Toyota 500 at Darlington, makes him the only Joe Gibbs Racing driver with a victory.

The NASCAR Cup Series returned to Darlington Raceway Wednesday for some midweek racing. After a fun and exciting return this past Sunday, Cup drivers look to return to the full swing of racing. NASCAR took the top-20 finishers on Sunday’s race and inverted them to form the lineup for the night race under the light.

Kevin Harvick Wins the Real Heroes 400 at Darlington Raceway – in NASCAR’s Return Back to Action

The NASCAR Cup Series held its first race after a two-month break due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This race was at Darlington Raceway without fans. Even though it seemed off due to the lack of fans in attendance, it was therapeutic for many fans, drivers, and all workers within NASCAR operations. It was a sight for sore eyes to watch NASCAR racing again.

Brad Keselowski brought the field to the green flag to begin the race. It did not take long for the first caution to wave. However. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wrecking coming out of turn two after taking the field four-wide onto the backstretch.

After a quick cleanup, the field reset and went at it again. Keselowski continues to lead. The competition caution came out on lap 30, and this was a much-needed opportunity for teams to make adjustments to their cars. Keselowski jumped back out into the lead, but it was Alex Bowman who stayed with him and stole the lead on the following lap.
