In more ways than one, Dalton Sargeant raced hard to close the gap on ARCA Racing Series points leader, Austin Theriault in the Fans with Benefits 150 at Iowa Speedway on Saturday night. The fastest car doesn’t always win and Austin Theriault is proving that point throughout the 2017 ARCA Racing Series season. His crew works hard throughout the race to get their Ken Schrader Racing No. 52 in the right position at the right time and once again, Theriault had the right car to hold off a hard charging Zane Smith in the closing laps to win the Montgomery Ward 200 at Madison International Speedway on Saturday night. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will experience a milestone this weekend at Sonoma Raceway when Alon Day, a 25 year-old native of Tel Aviv, will become the first driver from Israel to ever compete in NASCAR’s top series.
