Boca Raton, Florida’s Dalton Sargeant settled into his own zip code Sunday afternoon at Salem Speedway, and put a major-league whooping on the field to win the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200. Sargeant, who was himself a lap down at one point, got four fresh General Tires under caution late in the going and checked out from there to earn his second career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards victory. In the end, Sargeant, in the No. 77 Big Tine Ford, was the only driver to complete all 200 laps. Continue reading →

Since 2008, ARCA Racing Series driver, Tom Hessert III has finished inside the top-ten series point standings every single year – but that may not happen in 2017. This season Hessert is sharing his No. 25 Venturini Motorsports car with newcomer, Raphael Lessard.

Hessert is returning to the track at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend, after taking the pole and finishing fourth in the ARCA season opener at Daytona. Last year, he finished his career best season, second in the series point standings.  Continue reading →

With the recent announcement of the new format for the Monster Energy All-Star Race to add a tire option, spirited discussions began immediately. After eight races with the new Stage racing at every type of track except a road course, most people have settled on their opinion of its entertainment value and impact on the sport. Some of the calls on the talk shows seem negative, but look at what changes the sanctioning body has made to improve the beloved sport of stock car racing.

When it comes to having a high-profile, ultra competitive driver like Kyle Busch in the sport, fans can expect to have a variety of headlines focused on the individual.  NASCAR fans have seen the younger Busch brother grow from a highly sought after teenage hot shoe through an adored underdog.  Two years ago, fans watched his comeback from an injury resulting in the 2015 Monster Energy NASCAR championship and then mature to a veteran industry leader, spokesman, and father.
