Making it a memorable ARCA Racing Series debut at Toledo Speedway in the Menards 200 this weekend, Myatt Snider with Cunningham Motorsports came home victorious.

After practicing and qualifying in the top-three, Snider maintained his position in third-place until making his move to second on lap 87. Battling his Cunningham Motorsports teammate Chase Briscoe with side-by-side racing, Snider took the lead for two laps, two-thirds of the way into the event. Continue reading →

The SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour featured a twin 75-lap format at Kern County Raceway this weekend with David Mayhew winning the first segment by holding off a hard charging Derek Thorn – the 2012 and 2014 champion. In the second segment, it was Ryan Cansdale fending off Christian McGhee for the victory.  Overall, Thorn earned the best average finish, earning him the race win and $5,000 in the Bulwark FR – Westex by Millikan 150 presented by 51 Fifty Energy Drink.

Starting his day by setting the fastest time for the 36th time in his career, Thorn set a time of 17.481 at the half-mile tri-oval.  Continue reading →

Although Todd Gilliland and Ryan Partridge have dominated the news in this NASCAR K&N Pro Series West season, last year’s series’ champion made his own headline on Saturday night at Orange Show Speedway.

Driving for Bill McAnally Racing, Eggleston took the lead from Partridge with seven laps to go, chasing down his first win of the season in the Sunrise Ford 150. Roush Fenway Racing showing they are here to compete won the first two segments in Saturday’s Sprint Showdown at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday. Trevor Bayne and Greg Biffle swept the first two segments advancing into tonight’s Sprint All-Star Race and keeping Roush Fenway’s streak of now 27 consecutive All-Star starts.

On a late restart, Bayne was fourth and took the lead with his No. 6 passing the No. 24 car by only five-thousands-of-a-second at the finish line. Continue reading →
