New NASCAR Next Class Already Making Mark on Track

Five of the six NASCAR K&N Pro Series race winners in 2015 are 21 years old or younger. The championship points leaders in both the East and West are 17 and 16. And a 17-year-old just became the highest-finishing female in the 61-year history of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

It is fitting that as fans celebrate Jeff Gordon’s final year of competition, the ranks of NASCAR is becoming filled with young drivers battling to one day fill that void. NASCAR Tour Series Busy this Week
Five of the six NASCAR Touring Series in North America will see action this week leading off with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on Thursday night for the second consecutive week. Heading into the Budweiser King of Beers 150, points leader Doug Coby holds an eight-point lead over Justin Bonsignore entering the tenth race of the season.

International Flavor for NASCAR Home Tracks and ARCA Preview

NASCAR_HOMETRACKS_cropped_700The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will head to Watkins Glen International Friday for the Bully Hills Vineyard 125, led by championship points leader Ben Rhodes. There are a number of road-course ringers in the field, most notably, two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion Andrew Ranger and two-time NASCAR Whelen Euro Series champion Ander Vilarino. Ranger has 19 Canadian Tire wins with 16 on road courses. He’s also won three times in the K&N Pro Series – all on road courses. Vilarino, joined by 2013 championship runner-up Frederic Gabillon at The Glen, has 16 Whelen Euro wins – 15 on road courses. Also in the field will be NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sunoco Rookie Austin Dillon. Continue reading
