KANSAS City, Kan.— In the closing laps of Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway, part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Aric Almirola ran down Playoff leader Cole Custer. After taking the lead, Almirola pulled away for his second victory of the season in the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

BRISTOL, Tenn.— Recovering from an early brush with the outside wall, Cole Custer won Friday’s Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway, the race that set the field for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs.
