At Bristol Motor Speedway last Thursday night, NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series driver Austin Wayne Self started 25th and was racing in the top-ten until the last restart turned his result into a 15th-place finish. The AM Racing driver of the No. 22 is riding a wave of momentum after finishing fifth at Michigan International Speedway a couple of weeks ago. Now with a road course on the schedule this week at Candian Tire Motorsports Park, Self is already looking forward to getting back on the track.

Denny Hamlin Bounces Back to Steal the Win at Bristol

For the last time in the regular season, Bristol Motor Speedway hosted the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race with plenty of hype heading into the 500 laps under the lights on a Saturday night in Tennessee. Several drivers were fighting for a playoff spot, and perhaps a job for next season.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Tyler Reddick’s No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet had the word ‘BEAST’ in big block letters on its hood Friday night.

The car was aptly named.
