NASCAR Whelen All-American driver Buddy Shepherd from Bakersfield, CA has been racing since he was four years of age, but the 2015 season has been the highlight of this 15-year-old driver’s young career.  Racing with H & M Motorsports, Shepherd has already brought home three victories and three more top-five finishes, making him another young gun to watch in the youth movement within NASCAR. Young Buddy Shepherd is Living his Dream

Buddy_ShepherdBuddy Shepherd’s decided he wanted to be on four wheels in 2003 at the age of three when his mom and dad bought him a Power Wheels quad.  He began racing quads and motorcycles in 2004 at the age of four and raced the next two years racking up an impressive 45 podium finishes.

In 2007 at the age of seven, he was given his first sprint car, a Junior Micro Sprint. That year he claimed Rookie of the Year honors at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, CA. Then in 2008 he went on to seven victories and by 2009 he earned the title of Budweiser Grand Prix Champion at Lemoore Raceway by winning seven more races! Continue reading
