Former USAC National Midget champion, Christopher Bell is heading to Salem Speedway this weekend racing with Venturini Motorsports for his career debut in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Bell is driving the No. 66 JBL Toyota Camry in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 on Sunday.

Although this is Bell’s first race on the Indiana short track he tested with Venturini Motorsports a couple of weeks ago, giving him confidence that he and his car are ready for action on the track. Continue reading

Kligerman Heads NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Standings

Two races into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, Parker Kligerman leads the standings by one point over Daniel Hemric on the strength of a third-place (Daytona) and eighth-place (Atlanta) finish. Following Hemric is John Hunter Nemechek (-3 points behind Kligerman), Timothy Peters (-6) and Tyler Young (-8).

Although Kligerman ranks first in points, Nemechek and Johnny Sauter are the only drivers who have earned berths in the Camping World Truck Series Chase, via their wins at Atlanta and Daytona, respectively.

KBM Truck Drivers Ready To Sharpen Skills In Rattler 250

Three Kyle Busch Motorsports drivers are keeping their skills sharp this off weekend by competing in the 40th annual Rattler 250 Super Late Model race at South Alabama Speedway on Sunday.

Last season’s winner Christopher Bell and NASCAR Next member William Byron will pilot KBM cars, while Cody Coughlin is with his family owned team.

NASCAR Next member Dalton Sargeant, who has four truck series starts to his credit, is also scheduled to compete.

John Hunter Nemecheck Wins Truck Series Great Clips 200 at Atlanta

Matt Crafton and Christopher Bell swapped the lead four times over the first 111 laps in what looked like a two-truck shootout, as Crafton battled to win his second consecutive Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta.

But neither would find themselves in Victory Lane when the checkered flag flew.

Crafton had led 76 laps coming to the restart with 20 laps to go after the elapse of the second caution clock of the race, in what looked like a sure-thing for the dominant 2014 Camping World Truck Series champion. All that changed in a flash. Continue reading

Christopher Bell Talks about Scary Daytona Wreck

Last Friday night, Christopher Bell wrecked his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota Tundra in the closing laps of their season opener at Daytona International Speedway. It was a scary wreck as his No. 4 kept barrel rolling down the track flipping several times before finally coming to a stop.  Bell went to the infield media center and was later sent to a local medical facility for further evaluation.  Continue reading
