Sprint Cup Series teams are at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend for The Profit on CNBC 500 presented by Small Business Fueling America taking place on Sunday, March 2nd for 312 laps of racing action. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Danica Patrick, driver of the No. 10 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet, is scheduled to appear at Phoenix International Raceway’s ROLL-BAR Club for a question-and-answer session with NASCAR fans before The Profit on CNBC 500 Presented by Small Business Fueling America NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, March 2.

Patrick is scheduled to appear at 9:50 a.m. MST.  She will be followed on the stage by her new Stewart-Haas Racing teammate Kevin Harvick, who is scheduled to appear at 10:00 a.m. MST on Sunday. Looking back on 2013, NASCAR had a remarkable year. From storylines galore to scandals that challenged the sport’s credibility, NASCAR never stayed quiet. Going into the year, there were many more questions than answers. Fans wondered what was to come from all the ‘newness’ the sport was expecting which included the Gen 6 car and drivers in new rides. Harvick Perseveres through Onslaught of Cautions for a Kansas Win

On paper the race may seem a clean-cut day for Kevin Harvick on Sunday at Kansas Speedway, but in reality, the paper is a bit deceiving.

Harvick started the race out front and finished there too, but he was challenged to remain on his game throughout the many restarts which could have meant trouble for the No.29 team. Harvick may have earned the win, but the biggest story of the day was a shift in Sprint Cup challengers at the top. Kansas was filled with chaos and to top all of that off, one of the top championship contenders, Kyle Busch, was caught up in a wreck that may have wiped his shot at the title away. Continue reading
