NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are ready to race 211.6 miles over 200 laps in the AutoLotto 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway today, Saturday, July 16th. NBC Sports Network will begin their coverage at 3:30 pm ET with a green flag around 4 pm ET. Radio coverage is available on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase Outlook

Nine races remain until the XFINITY Series Chase. Since only three series regulars have wins, points are at a premium.

The three drivers who have already clinched berths in the Chase via victories are Erik Jones (2 wins), Daniel Suárez (1) and Elliott Sadler (1). All three get three bonus points per win for the first round of the Chase. Continue reading

The last four NASCAR XFINITY Series races for Roush Fenway Racing driver Darrell Wallace Jr. have produced three top-tens and a solid grip on ninth place in the standings, but that doesn’t mean Wallace is satisfied with the results.

Kyle Busch Holds Off Austin Dillon for XFINITY Win at Kentucky

It was a race Kyle Busch won with a dramatic run around the outside lane at Kentucky Speedway.

It was a race Erik Jones lost when he hit the wrong switch on his dashboard, killed the engine and slowed under caution late in the race.

But, interestingly, it was a race where Jones showed Busch, the pole winner, the key to victory, demonstrating to his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate that the outside line was viable when racing side-by-side with an opponent. Continue reading

Brand New Kentucky Speedway Awaits the NASCAR XFINITY Series

Crew chiefs can toss out their old notes because Kentucky Speedway underwent a full repave during the off-season and its new surface debuts this weekend when all three of NASCAR’s national series head to The Bluegrass State.

In addition to the repave, turns one and two had their banking increased from 14 to 17 degrees. The racing groove narrowed in the process. Turns three and four stay at 14 degrees. Continue reading

Despite Being Great or Horrible; Daniel Suarez Still Confident in Truck Program

It’s surprising for some to think that Daniel Suarez has a NASCAR XFINITY Series win rather than a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series triumph in two years of competition.

After all, Suarez, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver began showing his potential in trucks last season driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM). And while many contributed his truck performances to the transferring success to the XFINITY Series, much can’t be said for the same in 2016.
