Chase Briscoe Rides Emotions in NASCAR Xfinity Series Return to Racing

An emotional Chase Briscoe battled Kyle Busch to the line, beating and banging each other in the last ten laps, that probably had fans at home on their feet. Briscoe overcame Busch at the line to capture the win in the Toyota 200 at Darlington Raceway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ first race back since the COVID 19 pandemic brought sports to a halt.

Hamlin’s Win at Darlington is his Second in 2020.

Hamlin’s win in the Toyota 500 at Darlington, makes him the only Joe Gibbs Racing driver with a victory.

The NASCAR Cup Series returned to Darlington Raceway Wednesday for some midweek racing. After a fun and exciting return this past Sunday, Cup drivers look to return to the full swing of racing. NASCAR took the top-20 finishers on Sunday’s race and inverted them to form the lineup for the night race under the light.

Darlington 1 NASCAR Cup Series Power Ranking

NASCAR Cup Series Power Ranking Post-Darlington 1

NASCAR is back. It may look different, with no fans in the stands, drivers wearing masks, and practicing social distancing throughout the facility. Still, for 293 laps around Darlington Raceway, life felt pretty normal again in the racing world. After over two months off, drivers came to one of the circuit’s most demanding tracks to race without practice or qualifying. That gives an advantage to the veterans, holding firm with Kevin Harvick picking up his 50th career win. With that being said, here is the first power ranking in over ten weeks.
