Tonight NASCAR K&N Pro Series West teams will race their last event of the 2015 season – the Casino Arizona 100 at Phoenix International Raceway – and finally decide who will wear their Championship crown. It’s been a tight contest with four¬†drivers holding the lead spot throughout the year, including current leader, Chris Eggleston. Also leading the points this season are second-place Noah Gragson, third place, Gracin Raz and fourth-place Ryan Partridge.

Eggleston nabbed his second K&N West win at California’s Irwindale Speedway on April 11th and returned to Victory Lane on May 30th for the second time this season with a win at California’s Shasta Speedway.  Continue reading

Gracin Raz Gains First K&N West Victory at All-American Speedway

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship title is about as close as any competition could ever hope with just one race left in their season. Rookie of the Year contender Gracin Raz, with Jefferson Pitts Racing made his presence known with a last lap pass for his first career victory at All-American Speedway in Roseville on Saturday night.

Earning the pole starting spot earlier in the day, Raz would end up vying for his first series victory with another K&N West competitor Alex Shutte, in contention to do the same. Ryan Partridge Gets First K&N West Victory at Colorado National Speedway

Saturday night at Colorado National Speedway long be remembered by Ryan Partridge as when he earned his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Victory in the NAPA Auto Parts 150.

Earlier in the day, the 25-year-old rookie from Rancho Cucamonga, CA earned his first Coors Light Pole Award, then went on to lead all but one lap in the race. Partridge passed the checkered flag 1.7 seconds in front of second-place Blake Williams, who in his third career start, posted his second top-five finish.

In 2014, Partridge was the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series CA champion, at Irwindale Speedway. Saturday was his 13th start in the K&N West, his first full-time season in the series with owner, Bob Bruncati. In their last outing, Partridge earned his previous best finish as runner-up at Evergreen Speedway.  Continue reading

After finishing second in the K&N East season opener at New Smyrna in February, 17-year-old Dalton Sargeant is still smiling today after winning the K&N West season opener the NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Kern County Raceway on Saturday night.

In addition to his runner-up finish at New Smyrna, Sargeant also finished second in the 2014 Snowball Derby at Five-Flags Speedway in December and came home with a third place finish from the SRL Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway last month. So, coming home to Boca Raton, FL with the trophy this weekend is just that much sweeter. Continue reading

Peak Stock Car Challenge Winner Christian PaHud is living the dream with a victory in his first K&N West series race.
