Dalton Sargeant Comes Home Victorious from K&N West Season Opener

After finishing second in the K&N East season opener at New Smyrna in February, 17-year-old Dalton Sargeant is still smiling today after winning the K&N West season opener the NAPA Auto Parts 150 at Kern County Raceway on Saturday night.

In addition to his runner-up finish at New Smyrna, Sargeant also finished second in the 2014 Snowball Derby at Five-Flags Speedway in December and came home with a third place finish from the SRL Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway last month. Peak Stock Car Challenge Winner Christian PaHud is living the dream with a victory in his first K&N West series race.

The 21-year-old from Daytona, Ohio, earned a NASCAR K&N Pro Series West start by virtue of winning the PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge. Saturday night, he converted that opportunity into his first NASCAR victory in the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 at All American Speedway. Continue reading →

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will make its second visit to Kern County Raceway Park on Saturday, August 30th for the Bakersfield 150 presented by GPS. Points leader Greg Pursley won the spring race from the pole and returns to the track with a 25-point advantage over second-place NASCAR Next driver Dylan Lupton. Pursley also won the inaugural event at Kern County last year.

James Bickford Picks Up First K&N West Win in Idaho

Rookie James Bickford made a late-race pass on Greg Pursley to win his first career K&N West race in Idaho.
