Standings Snapshot: Crafton Gains on Jones at New Hampshire
Matt Crafton finished runner-up in Saturday’s UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to jump Tyler Reddick for the second spot in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series standings. Crafton trails standings leader Erik Jones, who finished seventh at New Hampshire, by a mere seven points. Reddick, now third, needs to erase a 19-point deficit to catch Jones in the last six races.
Jones heads to Las Vegas as the defending race winner. He enters the race riding a streak of nine consecutive top-ten finishes. Continue reading →

The milestone 500th race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series produced important ‘firsts’ for two key figures on the winning team.
When Austin Dillon took the checkered flag in Saturday’s UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, he delivered the first victory in the series to both team owner Maurice Gallagher of GMS Racing and to crew chief Shane Huffmann.
Dillon pulled away after a restart on lap 167 of 175, a resumption that followed the sixth caution of the race, for Tyler Reddick’s spin off turn two on lap 161. Dillon, who had stayed out on older tires while most other lead-lap trucks came to pit road under caution on lap 142, crossed the finish line 1.054 seconds ahead of two-time defending series champion Matt Crafton. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will run its 500th race this weekend – Saturday’s UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The Camping World Truck Series began in 1995 and is in its 21st season of operation. Ron Hornaday Jr. has won the most Camping World Truck Series championships with four and 51 races. Mike Skinner earned the first series titles driving for legendary owner Richard Childress. Throughout its existence, many NASCAR stars have started their careers in the Camping World Truck Series, including Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Challengers Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Jamie McMurray and Brad Keselowski.
