Kevin Swindell, driving the No.15 Zaxby’s Toyota for Venturini Motorsports in a substitution role for driver John Wes Townley, made the most of his opportunity Sunday afternoon with a thrilling late race surge to come from behind and win the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards – Central Illinois SuperChevyStores.com 100 at the Springfield dirt-mile.

Swindell working with newly acquired crew chief, Matt Weber, showed their resiliency by overcoming several early mishaps and mechanical issues before rising to the occasion with a dramatic lap 89 pass on Grant Enfinger to go on and win the 100-lap Springfield event.

Canadian Tire Series Fan4Racing K&N Pro Series NASCAR Whelen Modified

NASCAR_HOMETRACKS_cropped_700The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will head to Watkins Glen International Friday for the Bully Hills Vineyard 125, led by championship points leader Ben Rhodes. There are a number of road-course ringers in the field, most notably, two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion Andrew Ranger and two-time NASCAR Whelen Euro Series champion Ander Vilarino. Ranger has 19 Canadian Tire wins with 16 on road courses. He’s also won three times in the K&N Pro Series – all on road courses. Vilarino, joined by 2013 championship runner-up Frederic Gabillon at The Glen, has 16 Whelen Euro wins – 15 on road courses. Austin Dillon wins the Pocono Mountains 150 his first series win since Eldora in 2013 and breaks Toyota’s 12-race win streak

Finally Toyota’s 12-race dominance in the Camping World Truck Series has come to an end at Pocono Raceway with Austin Dillon bringing home a victory in his No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet.
