Kazaam! Grala Looks to Join Elite Company

GMS Racing driver and Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Kaz Grala has already locked himself into the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoffs thanks to his win in the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

Grala joins 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Sunoco Rookies William Byron and Christopher Bell as the only rookies to win and make the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoffs since the inception of the playoff system in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series last season. Continue reading

Kaz Grala Avoids Last-Lap Melee to Become Youngest Daytona Winner

In the space of 100 laps, Kaz Grala went from youngest NASCAR national series pole winner at Daytona International Speedway to youngest NASCAR national series race winner at Daytona.

What happened between the first green flag and the checkers, however, could fill volumes.

Miraculously, Grala slipped through a wild wreck on the backstretch on the final lap of Friday night’s NextEra Energy Resources 250 to win the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race contested in stages under NASCAR’s new competition format. Continue reading

Kaz Grala Making ARCA Debut at Daytona International Speedway

18-year-old Kaz Grala will pilot the No. 88 Kiklos Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil Chevrolet for Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) this weekend in the 54th annual Lucas Oil Complete Engine Treatment 200 at the Daytona International Speedway (DIS). The start will mark his debut with the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards.

Kaz has raced at Daytona in the Rolex 24 hours as well as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series Battle at the Beach. Saturday will mark his first start on the 2.5 mile oval. Continue reading

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series UNOH 175 at NHMS Preview

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams will race 181.5 miles over 175 laps in the UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 24th at 1 pm ET. Television coverage begins at 12:30 pm ET on FOX Sports 1 with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

What to Watch For: Eight drivers will compete for the championship in the inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase. Chase drivers Matt Crafton, Johnny Sauter, Timothy Peters, John Hunter Nemechek and Daniel Hemric finished second through sixth, respectively, in last year’s New Hampshire race. Continue reading
