The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East will head to Watkins Glen International Friday for the Bully Hills Vineyard 125, led by championship points leader Ben Rhodes. There are a number of road-course ringers in the field, most notably, two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion Andrew Ranger and two-time NASCAR Whelen Euro Series champion Ander Vilarino. Ranger has 19 Canadian Tire wins with 16 on road courses. He’s also won three times in the K&N Pro Series – all on road courses. Vilarino, joined by 2013 championship runner-up Frederic Gabillon at The Glen, has 16 Whelen Euro wins – 15 on road courses. Brandon Jones Becomes 11th Different K&N Pro Series Winner at Iowa
Keeping the trend of new winners at Iowa Speedway on track, 17-year-old Brandon Jones, captured his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series win Friday night in the Autolite Iridium XP 150. In 11 K&N East and West combo events, the track has produced 11 different winners, some of which include, Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, Corey LaJoie and now Brandon Jones. Continue reading

Sergio Pena returns to K&N East Victory Lane at Columbus

Sergio Pena found a familiar place after Saturday’s JEGS 150 at Columbus Motor Speedway. It was victory lane for the first time in three years.
Pena took the lead after a lap 119 restart from Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) driver Cameron Hayley and remained out front the rest of the night.
This is Rev Racing’s third win on the season and Pena’s first since Greenville-Pickens Speedway in September 2011. Continue reading
