Kaz Grala Brings Some Confidence with his JGL Team and Ford to Atlanta

After turning heads with a victory in his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway last season with GMS Racing, Kaz Grala is advancing his career by now racing with JGL Racing in the Xfinity Series this season. At 19 years of age, Grala plans on attending Georgia Tech this spring as a mechanical engineering major.

After finishing fourth at Daytona last week in the Xfinity Series season-opener, Grala returns to the No. 24 this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway with some experience at several 1.5-mile tracks last year in the Truck Series. In nine starts at 1.5-mile ovals, Grala has earned five top-tens and one top-five finish, recording his best finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  Continue reading

Tough Start for Cindric in Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 17, 2018) – Roush Fenway rookie driver Austin Cindric rolled off the grid 11th in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) opener at Daytona International Speedway. Unfortunately, the young driver’s (NXS) Daytona debut came to an abrupt end after his No. 60 Pirtek Ford Mustang made contact with the outside wall on lap nine after getting caught in the middle of three-wide traffic. With the damage too extensive to repair on pit road the team was forced to settle for a 40th-place finish. Continue reading
